Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) inspect and regulate schools in order to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and in education and skills for learners of all ages.
We were inspected by Ofsted on 1st & 2nd April 2014 and received a highly commendable report which deemed our overall effectiveness to be good. This report is available.
In March 2012, we received a 'survey' inspection which consider big issues, looking closely at a specified subject (in our case, ICT) and its impact on teaching and learning across the school. We had the pleasure of welcoming Ofsted's National Advisor for ICT who, after his two day inspection, deemed our school to be outstanding.
