30 Students take a memorable day out in Rome
A group of 30 students from Yr.’s 9, 10, 11 and 12 spent 4 days over the Easter holidays visiting one of Italy’s most beautiful cities – Rome.
The trip started bright and early on Saturday 4th April when we met, still bleary eyed at school at 5am. We arrived at the airport in Rome and spent the first afternoon on a walking tour around Rome, getting the first glimpse of the amazing sights; the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Piazza di Spagna. The next days were filled with the sights and sounds of Italy, we visited all the main sights in Rome including of course the Coliseum and St Peter’s which was a great hit with all the girls. We enjoyed fabulous weather and the girls had lots of opportunities to practice their Italian in real life situations!
