Year 9 Students Create Their Own Political Party

As part of the school’s Curriculum Extension Days to extend language and cultural learning we launched

‘Brexit’, a brand new learning programme for all year 9 students.

The aim of the programme was to:Increase students’ understanding of the current political situation as a result of the Brexit vote and to better understand the political implications for the future.

Topics covered included:

• International relations

• The history of European Union

• The British and European economies

• Immigration issues

• And they understood what it meant to trigger Article 50.
